Nice! A really well thought out, organized book! First thing I noticed was how succinct this book was. No fluff or junk you had to wade through, and the descriptions and pictures got straight to the point! Where to go, what to see, what to expect, all clear and concise with pictures to really enforce what you'll experience. Great to have prior to heading out to Olympic. It helped us really focus on what we wanted to see and how to plan, rather than our usual driving for miles, figuring out what we're doing on the fly. I kind of hope Alan does a couple more!Product details

The Best of Olympic National Park eBook Alan Leftridge Reviews
Meh, just okay. You get the very basics, nothing more. Includes “best of” sections including fish, birds etc. Unfortunately nothing about fishing, where to fish, and only includes the “top five” campgrounds.
Once I realized this was a book about the park and not a quantum fold that held the entirety of the park inside of it... It met all of my expectations. Good choice.
Great for quick info. This guide book gave me a huge head start for what I would see and learn about in the park. I went in March though so there wasn't much animal wildlife, but so very, very green!
I live in Port Angeles and find the book to be very well done and helpful.
Great book if your going to visit the Olympic National Park. Thorough breakdown of the highlights of the massive park and many of them were personally verified by taking the advise of the author and actually experiencing the recommendations. If your going to visit this magical place for the first time, buy this and educate yourself before the trip ~ you won’t be disappointed in the slightest and will actually be more educated on the places not to miss!
Very informative and well organized. Durable paper, cover, and binding. Perfect size to hit in a cargo pocket and I like that the corners are rounded to slide easily in and out without catching or bending. I liked this one so much that I bought "The Best of Glacier National Park" by the same author.
We're going to be spending 6 days in Olympic National Park this coming summer, so ordered this book. It contains a wealth of interesting, useful and practical information; is well organized and easy to read. It includes many color photos including bird, flowers, and animals indigenous to the park - something I wish all guidebooks contained. The only addition I would suggest would be locations of petroglyphs and other archaeological sites. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting this park.
